Billing and AI credits
Understand your plan allowance, credit balance, and daily ceiling.
Open Account settings → Billing to review your subscription, credit balance, and available management actions. Checkout and Billing show the terms that apply to your account.
What uses which allowance?

New thesis generation does not also charge the research run against your credit balance. Separate follow-up conversations are metered work.
Monthly and purchased credits
The public Pro configuration includes 2,000 AI credits per month, 30 thesis creations per month, 10 tracked theses, and 50 screeners. Legacy entitlements can differ.
Billing shows monthly credits separately from purchased credits and displays the monthly renewal date. Unused monthly credits expire at renewal; purchased credits do not expire. Monthly credits are used first.
Available credit packs are shown in Billing. Buying credits does not increase thesis-creation or tracked-thesis limits, and it does not replace a product subscription.
Daily credit ceiling
In Daily credit limit, use Limit daily spend to turn the ceiling on or off. When enabled, enter Credits per day, then press Enter or leave the field to save. The toggle saves immediately. Reaching it pauses eligible AI work even when credits remain. The daily ceiling resets at midnight UTC; an exhausted monthly balance does not refill every midnight.

After the limit clears, return to the affected work and check its status. Resend a blocked question or use an offered Run / Retry action if it did not start; do not assume a failed request resumes automatically.
Subscription and access
New Pro checkout offers a card-backed trial with monthly or annual billing. Read the trial end and first-charge terms before confirming. Select Manage billing under your active plan to open the billing portal. Choose the subscription or payment action offered there, review its effective date and charges, and confirm only when the terms match your intention. Return to Billing to check the updated status. Available plan-change and cancellation actions depend on your subscription.
Billing, account settings, support, and logout remain reachable when product access ends. Saved report artifacts are retained, but the reporting surface requires current product access. Export records you need while access is active.
