Read research with the sources in view

Understand what grounded answers and historical screens can tell you.

Sources make answers checkable

Research can retrieve prices, financial statements, filings, news, and your connected documents. Check the source date, coverage, and quoted evidence when a claim matters to your decision.

An answer can combine fetched facts with AI interpretation. A citation supports checking that interpretation; it does not make the interpretation certain.

A saved screen preserves the question

A screener records criteria you can refine, run again, and schedule. The same criteria can produce different results as data changes, and AI evaluation can vary.

Compare the version and run date before treating two result sets as directly comparable.

Backtests examine historical matches

A Research backtest asks which names would match supported criteria at earlier quarter ends. It does not calculate the return from buying and selling those names.

Historical field availability is constrained by the data source. The universe comes from today's listings, so the replay can exclude companies that disappeared. Do not treat the result as a complete historical opportunity set or proof of an investable strategy.

Use the next question to go deeper

A shortlist is the beginning of due diligence. Open a candidate, examine the opposing evidence, and create a thesis when you want to keep the reasoning under review.
